Raul Fernandez
Early Life

Raúl Fernández González was born on 23 October 2000 in Spain into a racing family. His younger brother Adrián also became a motorcycle racer, showcasing the racing passion that runs through the family.
Junior Career
Fernández began his ascent through motorcycle racing's developmental series in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup. In his rookie 2015 campaign, he showed immediate promise with podium finishes including 3rd at Brno, 2nd at Misano, and 2nd at Aragón, accumulating 121 points to finish 7th in the overall standings.
His second year in the Rookies Cup proved even more successful in 2016, where he achieved six podium finishes with a varied collection of results - two victories, three second places, and one third place. His standout performances came at Assen where he claimed both race victories from pole position, ultimately securing 3rd overall in the championship standings.
Fernández continued his upward trajectory by capturing the 2018 FIM CEV Moto3 Junior World Champion title, establishing himself as one of the most promising young talents in Spanish motorcycle racing.
Racing Career
Fernández made his mark in the Moto2 World Championship during the 2021 season with a record-breaking rookie campaign. He achieved eight victories throughout the year, surpassing Marc Márquez's previous record for most rookie wins in Moto2, establishing himself as one of the most successful debut riders in the category's history.
Having progressed through the Grand Prix motorcycle racing hierarchy, Fernández currently competes at the pinnacle of the sport in the MotoGP World Championship, riding for the Trackhouse MotoGP Team where he continues to develop his skills at motorsport's highest level.
