Francesco Bagnaia
Early Life

Francesco 'Pecco' Bagnaia was born on 14 January 1997 in Turin, Italy. The future MotoGP champion would go on to represent his home nation at the highest level of Grand Prix motorcycle racing.
Junior Career

Bagnaia progressed through the Grand Prix motorcycle racing ladder system, competing in the Moto2 category as a stepping stone to MotoGP. His time in Moto2 proved to be the launching pad for his premier class career, spending two seasons in the intermediate category before earning his promotion to the top level.
Racing Career
Bagnaia's breakthrough came in 2018 when he dominated the Moto2 World Championship, claiming the title with an impressive campaign that saw him win 8 races across some of the sport's most challenging circuits including Losail, Circuit of the Americas, Le Mans, Assen, Red Bull Ring, Misano, Buriram and Motegi.
His championship-winning season was marked by consistency and speed, accumulating 12 podium finishes, 6 pole positions and 306 points. This dominant performance earned him promotion to MotoGP with Pramac Ducati, marking the beginning of his premier class journey.
Following his success in Moto2, Bagnaia made the step up to MotoGP, where he continues to race as an Italian Grand Prix motorcycle racer, representing the pinnacle of motorcycle racing competition.
