William McComas Byron II burst onto the NASCAR scene with a meteoric rise through the sport's developmental series. His breakthrough came in 2015 when he captured the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East Championship, establishing himself as a rising talent in stock car racing.
Byron's ascent continued with remarkable consistency, earning Sunoco Rookie of the Year honors in three consecutive NASCAR national series.
