Ty Gibbs
Early Life
Tyler Randal Gibbs was born on October 4, 2002, into one of NASCAR's most prominent racing families. As the son of Coy Gibbs and grandson of legendary team owner Joe Gibbs, racing was quite literally in his blood from day one.
Growing up in the shadow of Joe Gibbs Racing's operation, Ty was exposed to the highest levels of motorsport from an early age, with unprecedented access to the inner workings of a championship-winning NASCAR organization.
Racing Career
Gibbs has established himself as a multi-series competitor within the Joe Gibbs Racing stable, showcasing his versatility across different ARCA platforms. He competes full-time in the premier ARCA Menards Series behind the wheel of the iconic No. 18 Toyota.
His racing portfolio extends beyond the main ARCA series, as he also runs part-time campaigns in both the ARCA Menards Series East and West, maintaining the No. 18 Toyota across all three series. This multi-series approach has given him extensive seat time and experience across diverse racing environments.
Perhaps most significantly, Gibbs has earned promotion to NASCAR's premier developmental series, competing part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. In Xfinity competition, he pilots JGR's No. 54 Toyota Supra, representing the next generation of Joe Gibbs Racing talent.
