Scott McLaughlin
Early Life

Scott Thomas McLaughlin was born on 10 June 1993 in New Zealand. The Kiwi would go on to make his mark in motorsport from a young age, establishing himself as a prodigious talent in his home country's racing scene.
Junior Career
McLaughlin's ascent through New Zealand's touring car ranks was meteoric. In early 2011, he claimed his first victory in the NZ Touring Car series at just 17 years old, becoming the youngest ever driver to win a race in the championship - a record that announced his arrival as a major talent.
Building on that early success, McLaughlin competed in the New Zealand V8SuperTourers Championship in 2012 and captured the inaugural series title, cementing his reputation as New Zealand's rising star in touring car racing.
Racing Career
McLaughlin's transition to Australia's premier touring car category proved equally successful. Competing with Garry Rogers Motorsport during his first full-time Supercars season in 2013, he achieved his maiden victory at Pukekohe Park Raceway, becoming the youngest person ever to win a Supercar race.
His career reached new heights when he joined DJR Team Penske, piloting the No. 17 Ford FG X Falcon. The partnership proved golden as McLaughlin captured the 2018 Supercars Championship, fulfilling his potential as one of the category's elite drivers and establishing himself as a championship contender in Australia's most competitive touring car series.
