Kyle Larson
Racing Career

Kyle Larson established himself as a formidable NASCAR competitor early in his career, earning Sunoco Rookie of the Year honors in the Xfinity Series in 2013 before capturing the same prestigious award in the Cup Series in 2014. His transition from developmental series to NASCAR's top level was marked by immediate success across multiple divisions.
During his tenure with Chip Ganassi Racing driving the No. 42 Chevrolet, Larson accumulated six Cup Series victories and consistently demonstrated his ability to compete at the highest level. He qualified for the NASCAR Playoffs for four consecutive seasons from 2016 through 2019, establishing himself as a championship contender.
One of Larson's most memorable victories came at the 2019 NASCAR All-Star Race, showcasing his ability to perform under pressure in NASCAR's premier exhibition event. Later that season, he broke a significant 75-race winless drought with a crucial victory in the Round of 12 opener at Dover International Speedway, demonstrating his resilience and determination.
Following his departure from Chip Ganassi Racing in April 2020, Larson joined the prestigious Hendrick Motorsports organization for the 2021 season, taking over the iconic No. 5 Chevrolet. His career statistics include 12 victories in the Xfinity Series and two wins in the Camping World Truck Series, highlighting his versatility across NASCAR's three national touring divisions.
