Joan Mir
Racing Career

Joan Mir's ascent through motorcycle racing's hierarchy showcased his exceptional talent across multiple categories. His breakthrough came in 2017 when he captured the Moto3 World Championship with Leopard Racing, establishing himself as one of the sport's most promising young talents.
Mir's crowning achievement arrived in 2020 when he claimed the MotoGP World Championship with Suzuki, becoming just the fourth Spanish rider to win the premier class title. His championship victory was historically significant on multiple fronts - he became the first Suzuki rider to win the title since Kenny Roberts Jr. in 2000, and the first non-Honda or non-Yamaha rider to claim the crown since Casey Stoner's Ducati triumph in 2007.
The Mallorcan rider achieved another notable milestone by becoming the first Moto3 world champion to subsequently win the premier class title, demonstrating his ability to adapt and excel at the highest level of motorcycle racing. As the second rider from Mallorca to win the MotoGP title after Jorge Lorenzo, Mir has cemented his place among Spanish motorcycling's elite alongside Àlex Crivillé and Marc Márquez.
Currently competing for Honda HRC Castrol in the MotoGP World Championship, Mir continues to be a formidable presence in the premier class, bringing his championship-winning experience to one of the sport's most prestigious teams.
