Fermín Aldeguer
Early Life

Fermín Aldeguer Mengual was born on April 5, 2005, in Spain. At just 20 years old, the young Spaniard has already made significant strides in the world of Grand Prix motorcycle racing, positioning himself as one of the most promising talents in the paddock.
Junior Career
Aldeguer's path to the premier class began in the European Talent Cup, where he competed in both 2018 and 2019. This stepping stone championship served as his introduction to international motorcycle racing competition.
His breakthrough came in the FIM CEV Moto2 European Championship, where he claimed the title in 2021. This championship victory proved to be the launching pad for his progression to the Moto2 World Championship.
Racing Career
Aldeguer's World Championship debut came in unique circumstances in 2021. While competing full-time in MotoE with the Aspar Team, he made several replacement appearances in Moto2 for Speed Up Racing, filling in for the injured and suspended Yari Montella.
After the MotoE campaign concluded at Misano, Aldeguer stepped into the Moto2 seat permanently for the final four rounds of the 2021 season. Despite the limited opportunity, he demonstrated his potential with two points-scoring finishes from eight races - a 12th place at Mugello and a promising 7th place finish at Aragon.
Impressed by his performances, Speed Up Racing secured Aldeguer's services with a three-year contract agreement at the end of 2021. He competed with the team from 2021 through 2024, establishing himself as a consistent presence in the intermediate class.
His career trajectory reached a significant milestone when Gresini Racing signed him for their MotoGP program. Aldeguer is set to make his premier class debut in 2025, racing for BK8 Gresini Racing and joining the elite ranks of Grand Prix motorcycle racing.
