Daniel Suárez's NASCAR journey began in Mexico, where he competed in the NASCAR Toyota Series driving for Telcel Racing. This experience provided him with crucial stock car racing fundamentals before making the transition to American NASCAR competition.
His path to the Cup Series was accelerated through NASCAR's Drive for Diversity program, where he raced for Rev Racing in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East. This initiative proved instrumental in developing his skills and providing opportunities to advance through NASCAR's developmental ranks.
Suárez achieved his career-defining moment in 2016 when he captured the NASCAR Xfinity Series championship while driving for Joe Gibbs Racing. This championship victory marked a historic milestone, establishing him as a significant talent in NASCAR's premier developmental series.
Currently, Suárez competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, piloting the No. 7 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Spire Motorsports. His presence in NASCAR's top tier represents the continuation of his steady progression through the sport's competitive hierarchy.
