Early Life

Connor Jackson Zilisch was born on July 22, 2006, in the United States. Like many future racing stars, his path to professional motorsport began in karting during his childhood years.
Junior Career
Zilisch's early racing career was built on a foundation in karting, where he honed his skills before moving up to higher levels of competition. His karting career reached its peak in 2020 when he captured the Karting Academy Trophy, establishing himself as a talent to watch.
Following his karting success, Zilisch transitioned to sports car racing in 2021, marking his entry into professional motorsport. He expanded his racing portfolio the following year in 2022 by adding stock cars to his program, setting the stage for his eventual NASCAR career.
Racing Career
The year 2024 marked Zilisch's explosive arrival on the major racing scene. He achieved the rare feat of winning both the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring in the LMP2 class in his first attempts at these iconic endurance races, demonstrating remarkable composure and skill for such a young driver.
His stock car racing breakthrough came in September 2024 when he won his first career NASCAR Xfinity Series start at Watkins Glen International, accomplishing this feat less than two months after his eighteenth birthday. This victory announced his arrival as a serious contender in NASCAR's premier developmental series.
Building on his 2024 success, Zilisch competed full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for JR Motorsports in 2025. His dominant season included ten wins and a record-breaking eighteen consecutive top-five finishes. He earned Rookie of the Year honors and advanced to the championship race at Phoenix Raceway, where he finished as runner-up in the championship standings.
Currently, Zilisch competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 88 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Trackhouse Racing, while maintaining a part-time schedule in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with the No. 1 Chevrolet Camaro SS for JR Motorsports.
