Early Life

William Clyde 'Chase' Elliott II was born on November 28, 1995, into one of NASCAR's most celebrated families. He is the son of Bill Elliott, the 1988 Winston Cup Series champion, giving him direct lineage to NASCAR royalty and an immediate connection to the sport's highest level of competition.
Racing Career
Elliott made an immediate impact in NASCAR's national series competition, achieving a historic milestone in 2014 when he captured the NASCAR Nationwide Series championship. His title victory was particularly significant as he became the first rookie in NASCAR history to win a national series championship, establishing himself as a generational talent.
Following his championship success, Elliott transitioned to NASCAR's premier series, where he earned the 2016 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Rookie of the Year award. He currently competes full-time in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 9 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Hendrick Motorsports, one of the sport's most prestigious teams.
Elliott also maintains a part-time presence in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 8 Chevrolet Camaro for JR Motorsports, allowing him to continue developing his skills across multiple series levels.
