Callum Ilott
Early Life
Born on 11 November 1998, British driver Callum Benjamin Ilott's path to motorsport began through childhood exploration of various sports. His parents encouraged him to try football, cricket, rugby, tennis and other activities before he discovered his true passion.
The pivotal moment came when Ilott attended a friend's birthday party at a go-kart track. This experience sparked his interest in racing and set him on the trajectory that would define his professional career.
Racing Career
Ilott's progression through motorsport's ranks led him to become a member of the prestigious Ferrari Driver Academy, marking him as one of the sport's most promising talents.
His breakthrough season came in 2020 when he finished as runner-up to Mick Schumacher in the Formula 2 Championship, establishing himself among the elite drivers in junior categories.
Expanding his racing portfolio beyond single-seaters, Ilott competed in the 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship, driving for Jota Sport in the premier Hypercar category.
Currently, Ilott competes in the IndyCar Series, driving the No. 90 Dallara-Chevrolet for Prema Racing, representing his transition to American open-wheel racing.
