Alex Rins
Junior Career

Alex Rins began his path to MotoGP with a breakthrough victory in the CEV championship in 2011, establishing himself as a rising talent in Spanish motorcycle racing. The following year marked his transition to the world stage when he moved up to the Moto3™ World Championship in 2012, where his impressive debut season earned him the prestigious Rookie of the Year title.
The 2013 season saw Rins emerge as a genuine title contender in Moto3™, battling for the championship until the final corner of the last race. Despite securing multiple wins and podiums throughout the campaign, the Spaniard was narrowly beaten to the crown by compatriot Maverick Viñales in what proved to be one of the closest championship fights in the class.
After a challenging 2014 season that was hampered by injury, Rins made the step up to Moto2™ in 2015. Once again demonstrating his ability to adapt quickly to new machinery, he claimed his second consecutive Rookie of the Year award while taking multiple victories in his debut season in the intermediate class. His momentum continued into 2016, where he mounted another serious title challenge, ultimately finishing third in the championship standings with an impressive tally of wins and podiums.
Racing Career
Rins' consistent performances and race-winning ability in the junior categories earned him promotion to MotoGP™ in 2017 with Team Suzuki Ecstar, marking the beginning of his premier class career. His progression through the motorcycle racing hierarchy demonstrated his versatility and championship-caliber talent across multiple categories.
For the 2024 season, Rins made a significant career move by joining the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Team, bringing his experience and proven race-winning credentials to one of the sport's most storied manufacturers.
