"It's definitely possible to clinch here in Las Vegas, but a lot has to happen," stated Norris. He is optimistic but aware of the challenges ahead. The season is nearing its conclusion, with 83 points still up for grabs across the last three races. Winning in Las Vegas could increase his lead; however, the ongoing battles will keep both Piastri and Verstappen in contention.

"I need to focus on winning the race, then I can see how things shake out with my competitors,” Norris added, setting a clear strategy for the upcoming event.
Meanwhile, Verstappen, who has historically performed well in Las Vegas, expressed his determination to remain competitive. "We're not out of it by any means. I may be behind now, but there's still a lot of racing left to do," said Verstappen, hinting at his intent to capitalize on any mistakes from Norris and Piastri.
