The race wasn't without its challenges, especially for Max Verstappen. After encountering difficulties, including a time penalty for making contact with George Russell, the Dutch driver finished in 10th place, resulting in just a single point added to his championship total. "I tried to give my best to recover, but it was a tough race. We’ll come back stronger," Verstappen remarked, now trailing Norris by 39 points. Lewis Hamilton, despite a valiant effort, is in sixth place with 71 points.
